We now believe that Jozef died and Marianna had difficultly explaining this in English.

Evidence of Age Certificate for Henry Augustowski, states that due to the difficulty spelling and pronouncing their surname, the family has been using the surname Josephs.

Noted as Mary Augostoski a retired nurse aged 82 lodging at 44 Bancroft Road, Mile End Old Town, London, England.
We believe she had been working in the Union Workhouse Hospital.

Died at Union Workhouse, Leytonstone, London. Cause of death Senectus Syncope (old age). Death registered by the Workhouse Master.
Her last known address taken from her death certifcate is 9 Sidmouth Road, Leyton, London, England.
We believe that prior to being admitted into the Workhouse Hospital she was living with her son Henry at 11 Sidmouth Road, Leyton, London, England.
